HARPER, Dearl (Earl) William

Dearl (Earl) William Harper, 52, a native of Veedersburg, died Tuesday (October 11, 1949) at his home in Danville, Ill.  He was born August 17, 1897, in Veedersburg, the son of James and Irma Booe Harper.  He is survived by his wife, Madge, a brother and two sisters.

Danville News - Mr. and Mrs. Philip Booe of Veedersburg announce the marriage Nov 27 of their grandson Earl W Harper of the USS New York to Miss Irene McCarthy of Cartwright Gardens, London, England. The
marriage was celebrated at the English home of the bride, and Mr. and Mrs. Harper are expected home some time next spring.  The young man is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J ames E. Harper, 119 Berryl Avenue, but has
spent much of his time with his grandparents in Veedersburg. He enlisted in the Navy Jan 5, 1915.
